Seed and Structure is a sanctuary and a study dedicated to the internal sovereignty and collective durability of Black women leaders. We facilitate the Strategic Weaving of rhythmic somatic study and foundational organizational design, bridging the distance between individual wholeness and shared impact.

By moving beyond the "busy gotta be busy" culture, we guide leaders and collectives through a seasonal process of softening the ground of chronic urgency, regulating capacity through ancestral ritual, and building sturdy foundations—ensuring that our lives and our structures finally tell the same story.

The Digital Sanctuary
The website is designed as an extension of the "Thaw," utilizing a spacious, editorial aesthetic to ground the visitor.

The Palette: A rhythmic balance of Deep Eucalyptus, Clay Terracotta, and Warm Bone, evoking a sense of earth and interior peace.

The Experience: A split-screen narrative reflects the duality of the Seed (Individual) and the Structure (Collective), while a grid-style archive honors twenty-five years of wisdom through our Practitioner Profiles.

The Typography: Classic Serif anchors the storytelling and ancestral history, while modern Sans-Serif guides the user through our pathways of practice, maintaining a sense of clarity and sovereign presence throughout.

The Right to Belong to the Ecosystem of Our Own Lives While We Fight and Build

Throughout my career I have had a fascination with the relationships between people in organizations. Not the kind that you might get in trouble for with HR. Rather, I’ve been curious about how individuals and teams work together (or don’t) to meet goals and make change. Most of my work and figuring out of this has been in the nonprofit sector. For nearly fifteen years I’ve prioritized relationality - aka the association of people (for the co-op heads reading this!)- in my work as a co-op...

Our Organizational High Cortisol Levels are Gonna Ensure We Lose. What Can We Do About It?

Organizational survival cannot rely on the personal privilege and marginalized statuses of their leaders and staff. Systemic Durability is the process of mapping your organization's true human capacity and aligning it with your values, principles, and strategic goals.
